Carolina Rehab and Physical Medicine Center is a physical medicine, chiropractic and natural medicine practice. Our office is in Little River, SC. We are a full-service multidisciplinary office treating conditions involving all joints, muscles, and pain.
Our passion and focus are to improve movement in a functional way. Humans are designed to move in a specific way. This normal movement is the best way to move, it is the easiest way to move, and it even protects joints from excessive wear and breakdown. However, due to injury or compensations, joints sometime begin moving poorly or in an incorrect way. This leads to joint pain and degeneration. Our goal is to correct this poor movement, restoring normal function and decreasing pain. With true restoration of good, normal movement, pain not only decreases but it doesn’t return.
Personal Physical Evaluation
Our team will evaluate you with a thorough, yet non-invasive exam to understand your condition and the source of your pain. Your evaluation will consist of traditional neurologic and orthopedic testing as well as functional movement screens.
Our office is an effective approach to age old problems. We view everyone as an athlete. While you may not be a football player or a dancer, you are still using your body to enjoy your life. You still must perform specific athletic events whether it is playing catch, hitting a golf ball or taking a walk with family.
Focused on Your Rehabilitation
Understand, we are not trainers and that is not our intent. We are very well versed in rehab protocols that we use to restore our patients to proper movement and to rid them of pain, and most importantly, keep that pain away.
